F2 Mapper Joomla! Component - Progress Update

Work is progressing well on our F2 Mapper component for Joomla!, for which our developers recently implemented Google Maps integration via the Google Maps API.

F2 Mapper is a Flash-based application that allows Joomla! users to upload images, maps and now Google Maps, following which they highlight a section of the image/map and allocate a hotspot to it.  A hotspot can then be linked to a URL or other Joomla! content item. Further development will see F2 Mapper linked through to Mosets Tree Directory listings, products/categories of products in VirtueMart and even property objects within Hot Property and/or our own F2 Shout Out e-marketing application, which is also being extended to provide custom content functionality for Joomla!. That is, F2 Mapper hotspots linked through to property/estate/lot items.
